Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Centennial Aquatic Club, you will lead swimming programs and conduct both group and individual lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a strong interest in swimming, exceptional communication abilities, and a sincere knack for motivating young swimmers and fostering a love and respect for water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in Warminster, PA.
Responsibilities:
Provide swim instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels.
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering feedback and guidance as necessary.
Requirements:
Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an instructional or educational setting.
Proficient swimming skills and familiarity with different swim strokes and techniques.
Solid background in water safety and survival skills.
Certification in CPR & First Aid for infants, children, and adults.
Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching abilities.
Effective behavior management skills, with the capability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous, as it indicates an understanding of working with children in a structured environment.
A genuine love and passion for both swimming and working with children.
